I Can Never Sleep The Night Before A Trip Not a big deal usually, but I have to get up at 5:30 so....it might come back to bite me this time. BITE ME HARD! Uh anyway. The weekend was great which is not unusual, but it was also a cheap weekend. Always appreciated. Friday, I went to a party out at a lakehouse and consumed copious amounts of vodka watermelon. Tasty. Saturday, I went to see a movie which cannot be named but I laughed at various individuals imitating a large furry creature. Today, I caught up on my Netflix. Chapelle's Show and City of God to be specific. City of God was amazing and probably the most challenging film I have seen in quite some time. It's always difficult to watch a foreign film the first time anyway since you're staring at the bottom of the screen half the time. But this movie also has a story structure that I can't honestly say I have seen before. It goes back and forth between chronological and character based storytelling. Ultimately forming this weird hybrid that will answer any questions you might have, but not until the movie is damn well good and ready. Pretty sweet really. Now, I will sleep, work, and fly.
